Revert last commit in this branch (r42701), was a merge with trunk. Seems something went very wrong, contained multiple truncated files. Reverted with "svn merge -c -42701 ^/branches/soc-2011-onion"

merged with trunk up to 42696 (incomplete)

I have not hand merged any changes to paint_sculpt
I have not test compiled to see if it works at all
However, I am traveling soon for Christmas and wanted to back up this work (which was difficult due to svn oddities) in case something happens.

syncing value of ENABLE_PTEX for consistency
of course this variable is a hack, I should go ahead and integrate this with cmake and scons, but I guess I did not do that last summer because I didn't know exactly everywhere it would be needed yet, so I'll look at this more later

-fix: the tool exported in {0.0, 1.0} range while viewport in openGL is {-1.0, 1.0}. Result: only one quarter of the image was used by the exporter
